Sounds like you had a brill time, well done. Ive got all the bike kit but not done a tour yet. By the way padded shorts are def the way to go, however they do hold more water!;)

Nice to read some one else has dipped their toe into cycle touring. The longest journey starts with the smallest step. You've now notched up your maiden voyage the world is your oyster.

It's not the miles you do, it's the things that happen that make a tour/ride.

Yesterday I went shopping on my bike for my dad. I bought an apple pie, walked out of the shop crossed the road, and the bleedin wind blew it out of my hands. The woman thought she had deja vu when I went back in to buy another.
