Ok . ive been to the fishmongers in Twickenham ( Sandys for those of you that know ) and ive got me a trout . He cleaned it for me but i asked for it to be left on the bone . I didnt think he would leave the head on with the eye and everything xx( I'll have to blindfold it before i cook it

Heathrows shoot Thames water didnt get rid of . Personally i would have let the shoot bubble up out of the airports toilets rather than let the shoot into the environment .

Not quite. Actually Thames shoot, flowing to the lowest point. I was there, it was my job. Thames made a choice, then tried to blame someone else for their mistake. I'd love to give all the info, but I was involved so prefer not to. It is all a matter of public record, the court case has been done and dusted with the blame firmly at Thames feet, likewise the fine. FWIW, most of the hotel basements along Bath Road were filling with shoot too, maybe it was their fault??

I'm not a fish fan either. Like the OP, I'll eat the cod etc, but not into the smellier stuff. Some interesting suggestions on this thread though.

Haddock from the “Chipper” (fish and chip shop in Aberdeen), haddock fish fingers or tuna from a tin (at a push)
Anything else is just too fishy
