Fixing brackets for mudguards on suspension front fork

I`m after some fixing brackets for my suspension front forks to attach my SKS stays to. something circular that pinches together with a bolt that can double to mount the stays to. I managed to fit a pair of plastic ones last year (cycle lock frame mounting brackets) but they have both fractured. Diameter of fork legs are around 38-40mm.

I can make a couple of flat plates out of ali and put them under the main QR wheel spindle but I`d rather not rely on that.
