I got a message back from the council saying that an officer has been assigned to investigate the incident!

I'm not sure what they can do without photographic proof though... Maybe try to follow the van after work and see if the occupants do it again?

At least the council could make a note of the reg number and see if there are any future similar reports.

Good point I hadn’t considered that possibility. It was in quite good condition compared to other dumped touring vans I have seen .

I’m not planning to head out that way for a few days but will check if it’s still there . I have made a note of the cris site for future use .

It's basically like Datatag / Bike Register but for Caravans.

The amount that get stolen every year is insane really.
