I'll be dropping by Junction 31 on Sunday morning to let them know we're coming, and I've seen Chris at the Rose Restaurant, who is confident he can feed 80.

Simon, you do realise you've got Tim H down twice, has he been cloned?

there are two Tim H's. And both have 4 letter surnames. Luckily they look nothing like each other.

Some of you will remember Angela-Marie from the Brighton ride. 'I'm riding slowly but with purpose'. Brilliant.

Just wanted to make sure I was on the list Simon as there's a couple of Chris's knocking about on this thread (and I don't get out much). Cheers.

I remember Angela-Marie, her courage in the face of the beacon is not easily forgotten!

Angela-Marie and Tanya G: Both break chains.

hmmm... I seem to have broken three chains on three bikes in three rides! I might be setting some sort of record (and not in a good way!).

I only have one more bike left! Although I should collect my other bike tonight with a new chain free of charge provided by on your bike @ ldn bridge

It must be the 1700 watt output at your disposal - go easy on the drivechain...

Right! Would you remove the question mark please, Simon? I had a train problem, but have solved it by taking the Monday morning off work. I will break it to them soon. Don't think Tarte Tatin can make this one, unfortunately, but I might see if my friend Dr Evil the Mad Inventor is up for it...

What about Ruth - we didn't scare her off, did we?

No I don't think so! She's glad she came but found the sleep deprivation quite a challenge, so I think will be a now-and-again-er. She hasn't said a definite no, though! I'll press her for a Brighton run, I think...

Well, if she's a no-show, Dr Evil the Mad Inventor sounds like a fine substitute!

Glad you managed to sort the trains out...

Why thank you, Gentlemen. The Sunday is a dread Day of Replacement Buses, and I didn't fancy a one-woman SNRttC from Cardiff to Mumbles. Dr Evil doesn't have this problem, because he doesn't have to work and mainly surfs all day. The bastard. :bicycle:
