I think people have got in to the habit of registering early. I'm still getting enquiries, but I'd imagine that with the usual last minute cancellations, we'll be about 60 strong.

150 yards eastwards from the finish of the ride is Southends red light district. People may wish to bring the appropriate wetsuit for that. ;)

Don't ask me how I know this as I may have to kill you.
