God? I thought it was Richard Trevithick. Didn't have you down as a creationist.

It's a catch-all term. You take me too literally!

What about riding to Ashford to try out the new high-speed train back to St. Pancras. Is that the sort of experience that might interest anyone?

Would this high-speed train you speak of be designed by God or Richard Trevithick?...:angry:

oooh did some one mention cycling back as well?

Many choices for the return Ian

1) catch train designed by God
2) catch train designed by Richard Trevithick
3) ride back, whatever the weather
4) get hammered to compensate for the weather, then ride back

;):biggrin::biggrin:

I utilise the train enough on these outings i.e Hull to KX and return, so it's definately riding back for me...

Just like to clarify, that is to central London and not Hull...;)

Look out for the 2nd edition of SMRbtL

There is a lovely brickwork tower at the top of Shooters Hill mikee - ask Lee. ;)
I wondered how the workers got the bricks all the way up there then carted them up scaffolding to create the structure. Not easy. What was very easy was raiding Andy's café again for tea, rolls and comfort...it just sort of appeared in front of us!
