sorry mate, it was the thought of you actually being in front of someone going up a hill

I suspect that's for me.

Anything to slow the old man down. We could race him up the Beacon as he tows it and Davy is using it.

If that was to happen Chris, the 'Staines Massive' could transmogrify to
'Stains, massive' at a pedal stroke!
Poor old Davy - it's not fair he keeps taking the p1$$ out of himself...

(Have a nice time in Arundel Davy - the route back this time is via Horsham then Epsom maybe)...better keep your little ring intact just in case there's a sneaky slope a-lurking. :rain: Can't afford to be sodding about all day if the Dunwich Dynamo beckons...

Hahaha! Dell, TEC duty please! hehehe!

Notwithstanding the flashing helmet Davy, make sure your spare tubes are 'pre-talced'(don't use your job lot of Hai Karate either:wacko:) and not pre-punctured (tours passim).
Anyway, you're a dead man in Lurgeshall Cricket Club - after you used their pavillion for some 'light relief'!:rain:

Ok.. so not relevant for this forum but some of you may be indirectly interested. I'm not known for my videop prowess.. I'm a stills man!! But managed to shoot a few minutes of our Sweden ride for anyone interested. I particularly like the artful pan up from a plate of soggy Swedish lasagne to two very tired and wet riders (Janie K and Andy R). Faced with another 80 miles or so.. but spirits improved as did weather!
We rent a lovely house in Motala.. be good to see some new faces there next year!

Such a shame that ilovebikes will not be doing this ride - to help the inexperienced ones that Davy cannot manage...
Rumour has that ILB will put in an appearance. On a BMX. Which leaves open the question - will Wayfinder MacB direct him down some lonely path.....

Ah! 'Wayfinder' - that explains the practiced pose in the pelouse at Pewsey early on Sunday morn...

You'll probably still be quicker up Ditchling than me.....I'll be in one gear as well, I was last time (i.e. bottom...about 22"!!!).

Actually my friend, should you be testing yourself with an unfamiliar beast two days before setting off on 'Le Tour de Mouseketeer'?
Even with your elastic hormones - as befits a young man - you might well be aching like Davywalnut's derriere after a hard night on the curry.
Be careful.

I have a full sized BMX, recently acquired for £20. My son's commuter but he's quite tall and it has an extended seatpost. Nice and heavy. ;) Recently serviced. Just say the word.

yes i did discuss the possibilty of an injury on the eve of the tour with radius as well... perhaps i should save the bmx effort for the august night ride, yes i think that might be sensible  sensible, that word doesnt usually enter my vocabulary *shudders* heck i may even have to get the... the... train home afterwards, as the tour starts the next day... o the shame.... ;)

thanks for the offer chris, o hope it still stands if you are on the august ride
