Don't worry. Shut your eyes going down hill. I know I do. And if you're lucky, I'll stick my tongue in your ear to make you pedal faster.

what do we think fellow cc'rs shall i just do it (TM), i guess it would cut out any issues with saddle sores, and its technically semi recumbent so ticks off another member of the bike family that i will have ridden...

but how would you get it to the start?

Getting to the start is easy. I'll get a train to Victoria and ride to HPC, trying not to pull a wheelie. We'll need to adjust for leg length, but that's easy. It's got SPDs on, so you'll need to bring your own pedals.

Is there still a return group going for lunch in Lurgashall? Is it going to be eyeballs out or a continuation of the genteel mood?

definitely still a return group but route not final yet and probably won't be until the day. I believe it may hinge on whther the Teef needs to return pronto for Dun Run. I, in my infinite wisdom(sanity) have advised against this and recommended we stick to original idea of leisurely return ride including a fine lunch. To be fair some of the hills make the idea of leisurely the only option for me:biggrin:

I still have an open mind - to match my mouth.... Dunwich Dynamo or South Coast Solar Panel...that is the question. I'm certain to take rich's advice about heading across country rather than the coastal shed-a-ramas of the seafront, which is why I mooted GrumpyGregland as a possible point to head toward...
One thing's for sure. We'll not be going anywhere near a postbox or post office though. Oh yes. No we will not.:biggrin:

wonderful. Can you imagine the speed on that four mile descent through Ardingly? That's a lot of tounge in the shell-like.

well I'm fairly relaxed re this, I did my 150 miles and, as the commute is now full time, feel no urge to go mad, milewise, at weekends. Hence I will be getting the train to London rather than cycling up. But I will definitely be cycling home from Brighton. I have no timescales in mind so am happy to go as slow, or fast, as I'm able.

Teefs' obscure post office remark is due to my plan to wear one outfit for the night ride and then wash and change for the day return. I was going to post my dirty stuff back to myself from Brighton rather than carry it. Eminently sensible I thought but, to one as naturally stinky as the Teef, an obviously alien idea:biggrin:

Oh for the love of God!!!

I have enough adventures riding with ILB when its only me on the 'bent. I suggest all incant some new adjectives to existence before the ride, else fail to describe the exploits that occur.

Am gutted to be missing this one. ILB, this should be extremely fast. And quite hairy ;)

I give it 6 months 'til you want one.
