Anybody cycling back? I might go as far as Crawley or Reigate to hit the imperial century. I'm more interested in how long that will take to work out what time I need to book the train from Euston.

Would it be sensible to go for 1500 @ Euston including some leeway?

Planning, provisionally at least, to cycle slowly up the A23 cycle path north, as far as Warninglid to then rejoin my normal commute back to Horsham. or if legs dictate I must avoid the climb at Bolney I may come off A23 at Pyecombe and back lane it home by a more direct route

the good light is back from the repairers!

yay to the Maxx light people

now, I'm thinking of new tyres, would yellow ones be bad with a Condor red bike? I've seen a few red and yellow bikes about and quite liked them

I don;t mind a bit of a ride afters but I do have to be in the pub in good time for the mighty hammers game against the scouse so I'm a bit short of time

and I'm only now realising a train back to Victoria leaves me a long way from home

Hmmmm, just been replacing chunks of drivetrain on the tandem as there has been some horrific skipping under load - I'm hoping that this will cure it.

New chain and cassette from LBS and installed, but new chainrings are on order. Should arrive on Thursday, but there is a bank holiday in the week. This could be tight...

Has tdr1nka told you when I'm getting into Euston? 22:33. I'll be easy to spot in CC kit. Can't decide yet if I'll have deep sections front and rear or just rear.

Yes he mentioned you were getting in early, suggested possibly doing something beforehand if yer want. See what he suggests, if he doesn't see this I'll drop him a PM later...

have you not looked at the back page of the 2009 guide, Will?

(I'm up because three young men have just driven a stolen car into a parked car, shunted the parked car 30 metres through a fence, totalled the stolen car, jumped out and ran off. The Babe called the Constabulary who are, as I write, dispensing well-practiced resignation to a motley collection of dressing gowns. We're so 'front line')

No - you haven't sent me one. But I've just checked your email again and as usual I didn't read the last line where it says to let you know!!
