Ooh getting there early are we? Might do the same considering how easy it is for me  (actually I did last time as well...)

Anyone going through Waterloo that night? I'll be coming up from Pompey, scheduled to get in 2319. From there to HPC gives me the least chance of getting lost, nice and direct...however, Simon's mentioned that plenty of people go through Victoria at half past or so, that's another option for a bit of earlier (or later?) social riding. I'd appreciate any advice on the best route for that (Clapham-HPC)- the TfL cycle journey planner is generally OK, I've found, but it does make the odd bizarre suggestion....

Clapham J - out the MAIN exit, then left after the barriers to car park. Down to the road. Turn left all the way down to big Traffic lights. Turn right up Battersea Park Rd. to next main junction (pub called the Latchmere on the right) go left here in filter lane. Straight down all the way to Battersea Bridge and across. Keep going up to first lights then turn right - this is The Kings Road. All the way up to Sloane Square. Turn left and up to Knightsbridge.... right at the top and you're there! 15 mins ride I would say

Might hook up on the way then - will be heading out across there from Lavender Hill side by about 23:30 or is that too late you think?

I'll probably leave about 20 past 11 from Clapham Common area, coming past CC tube station and down to Chelsea Bridge, I'll send you a PM

Thanks SD. Just to make sure I've got it right, main exit is the one through the shopping centre, on to St John's Hill (I remember that one from the first Freewheel)? Then, left onto Falcon Road...., then right onto B. Park Road?

Yeah that's right ^
There's another door to the left in the shopping centre - opposite M&S Food. Takes you out to Falcon Rd, via the car park (cutting out the busy main doors).

Cheers,
SD

Been away for a while, so glad to see I've made the list. If all goes to plan I'll be road-testing a dyno-powered B&M IQ Cyo on this ride. Darkness - be gone!
