Foggy... yay I can use my foglights!

Is it that people enjoy fog just so they can use their pretty fog lights?

Out of about 40-60 cars I saw this morning... one had their rear fog light on, and about 20+ had their front lights on. Considering that EVERYONE has a rear fog light but not always fronts.

Do people really give a **** about the fog, or do they just want to ****ing ponse around? Front lights are useless when you can see where you are going.

Lucky you. I saw a couple of hundred cars and only about 70 percent had any lights on at all. I could only see the length of 5 parked cars at the time so seeing a grey box loom out of the fog in front about 20 metres away is quite scary.

Ah yes, I failed to mention that, a few were like that too - although today wasn't as bad as I used to see it.

I did see a few people with sidelights+fog lights.... no dipped at all.... granted these are the ones that probably drive around with side+fogs on all the time.

I never knew that. Rather worryingly I never realised that my car (Or the one I had before) had any form of fog light.
I'm off to hunt for the switch now!

It's a legal requirement.

It's the switch with a light on it that is lit when the lights are on (this is also a requirement).

It will usually look something like this:

There are rather inconsistent rules about rear fogs. It's illegal to switch them on unless visibility is 100m or less, but you have to switch them on if visibility is seriously reduced. Is there an 'optional' window?
