A Minging Manc...
My dog would eat her body weight every day in fallen apples in summer and autumn (I live on a fruit farm) if she could get away with it, so has to be kept on a lead til we leave the property.
@potsy does eat his body weight in food everyday. It's a habit that is becoming harder and harder to fulfil, perhaps I should buy him a lead to restarain him in the canteen and take him for a few walkies?

But I just ping the bits off if they've chitted!
I'm doomed......
:surrender:
Me too

I came across the 'be careful with rice' one recently, after a lifetime of using leftovers to make up egg-fried rice the next day, and it's quite often hanging around in a colander for several hours before it gets to the fridge. Can't say I've noticed any problems, but I am generally fairly robust and seldom have problems despite a pretty free & easy approach to sell by dates and the like. Still, I am now consciously trying to be a bit less slapdash around cooked rice.
Same here. And so far I have had no pro..................

It's not very urban but a lot of people think that berries from a yew tree are deadly poisonous. We all used to eat them when I was at school. They taste very sweet and pleasant but we were advised by those in the know that the pip was best not chewed or swallowed.
I want nothing to do with yew tree thank you very much

I'm with you @Mandragora and I stay well away from rice especially at those large events when you have no idea how long its been out and what temperature it's been at. If one of the family is out and we keep back their dinner then it goes in the fridge till they get home when it is thoroughly reheated. And I never reheat it again after that... just once then bin.

Having just had rice for lunch it's now got me thinking. I'm pretty certain the cook doesn't do fresh rice for this evening so it probably just gets warmed up again from lunch.
Another reason not to live off Brazilian black beans and rice
