Well, you know how it is... With the matches where I'm a neutral, I like to be entertained.

However, when England play (or the grandmotherland) all I want is a bloomin' win. Don't care how ugly / negative / scrappy it is.

Though t'is as rare as hens' teeth that England are in a tournament longer than the grandmotherland.

I'm going to be in Liseberg on saturday with the kids. It's a huge amusement park in Gothenburg (in, er, sweden). They have a dads' zone. It's going to be a mess.

I'd have liked us to be a bit more creative and did their keeper have a save to make in open play? Having said that Colombia were pretty poor, niggly to the point of thuggish and should really have lost in the 90 minutes. There'd have been no discussion if we'd had the wit to hang on for another couple of minutes.
We can beat Sweden but not guaranteed to do so.

I've just heard that FIFA have announced that if England get to the final and it goes to 120 minutes, we will be summarily awarded the trophy if it goes to penalties, in case I have a heart attack.
