This seems a bit silly to me. Could envisage a scenario where England and Belgium are tied in the last game. England topping the group because of fewer yellow cards, but Southgate sees a potontially easier last 16 game by finishing second. Sends on a couple of squad players with fifteen mins to go - “Right lads! Booking each please from both of you!”

Obviously a good result but need to improve before we play a decent team. Too many sloppy moments.

None of the big footballing nations have even got close to a 6-1 result against the weak teams in their groups. So does that mean they have to improve more than England?

If i miss matches the team i want to win tends to win that match. I do it quite a lot at Accrington and they win,hence me not going much last season and them getting promoted. When England make the final,i'll have to give it a miss and not watch it,so they'll win!
