Well, the Russian coach certainly figured out how to do a number on a Spain team with very few ideas and even worse finishing. It was horrendous though.

But Japan came out and took the game to Belgium and played some fabby football. I know what I'd rather watch.

Not so sure, it's a huge result for them, they were going bonkers at 0-2, passes hit all wildly and panicking, they deserve credit IMO.

Yeah, very much so. They could've folded - like in the aforementioned Wales game at the Euros - but didn't. Instead, they dug themselves out of a massive hole. That takes serious mental strength.
