Loved watching Brazil last night even if it’s tragic they go out. Brilliant attacking football is exciting to watch and they bring it all. I think it’s obvious they were the better team on the night but that’s football so good luck to Belgium but the pundits were blowing their performance out of all proportion.

The World Cup is worse off without Brazil in he final stages, maybe England can entertain us a couple more times..?

I read that game completely differently. Belgium were the better and classier team and deserved to win.

Belgium definitely bossed the first half but Brazil were probably unlucky not to take it to extra time.

Errrm? So what?

The only stat worth looking at is the goals column.

Who deserved to win is an entirely subjective opinion on which we clearly differ. Which is fine by me but stats don't prove it any which way.

And much over-rated, as the Spanish found out. Far from being a demonstration of the "Beautiful game", the possession football played by Barcelona and the Spanish national side is an ultra boring risk free defensive game that is turgid to watch. They don't shoot from distance, cross the ball or do anything that might risk losing it, instead relying on being able to walk the ball into the net at some point.

Thank God they were sent packing.

I missed the game , and refuse to listen to the the radio numpties giving out , so cannot really comment on the match , controversy no doubt , Marradonna putting his bit in again ? , but at the end of the game it’s what goes in the back of the net that counts , so whether or not Brazil deserved it or not is bye bye time , as it may be for us .

Hopefully we will in a few hours from now be the happiest Fans in Europe !!!

I will be dipping in and out of the game, in between hiding behind the sofa with my hands over my ears. If I was at the ground I would be glued to every second of the match, no matter how tense it is. But I just can't watch live on TV if it's West Ham, England or Ireland. I don't know why, I just get too nervous to enjoy it.
