The yellow cards are wiped out after the quarter finals (ie all players start the semi finals with no yellow cards). But if a player on a yellow card gets another yellow card in the quarter final he would be suspended for the semi final

Who were the 7? There were 4 Croatian bookings in the match tonight; Pivoric, Vida, Strnic, Lovren (no idea if that's the correct spelling)

I went down my local pub to watch both matches. I got there at 2 and left at 11. Heck,9 hours in a pub,how boring! They had a large tv screen (been told not to call it a television) outside in the beer garden,which now looks like a giant shredded wheat due to the drought. We'd rather have been playing Russia than Croatia,most were saying. Yeah but we'd have been up against most of the crowd if we'd played the home nation,said i.

My work computer password needed changing and it seemed an opportunity to mark England's progress.

As a Tottenham fan, I am almost spoiled for choice.

Kane and Dier are both a bit too short, and there could be some spelling issues with Dele Alli who, in any event, likes to be known as Alli.

So anyone wanting to password hack my account should start with who I judge to be our best player - Trippier.

That's Luka Modric isn't it? Modric is so small, his club keep him in a kennels at the back of their stadium and incredibly enough, he has to pay them to keep him on their books. True story.

I wasn't sure when I saw PR's post, but I read somewhere that he prefers Dele as there's an issue with his family.
