someone call ? For me "Specials" is my favourite followed by "in the studio" however I do enjoy all 3. However I tend to play the compilation "The singles collection" most these days.

Currently getting a lot of airplay at rich p towers is a mainly Prince Buster compilation called Earthquake on Orange Street. Excellent stuff

Hey, early 80s I was not bothered about what the albums were and 'integrity'. They were superb. That's all I remember and all I need to know.

I saw the 2-Tone Tour when it hit Exeter, Madness Specials Selecter on one bill... sure shook Devon :biggrin:

But you wouldn't have got The Specials if it hadn't been for Prince Buster et al. It's about historical context and the fact that I was collecting ska and blue beat records long before The Specials started. That said, I like them too.
