Yes, I bought my first ASLR in 1972. Though, come to think of it, they might just have advertised it as an SLR ...Referring to film photography/cameras commonly uses the "analogue" label. It's a fairly accurate description of the film photography process and makes a simple distinction versus digital. I actually shoot both, although my Yashica 35mm film camera only gets occasional use when the mood takes me![]()
