As for recommendations, I like Phoenix.
This is about the best they've managed so far.
Deemed "inappropriate by some users" - probably by people using the words 'french' and 'music' in the same sentence
Not only Plastic Brertrand is from Belgium, so is Johneeeeee "Ali-day"
Jean Michel Jarre--http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4oSXmnkPUU
Agreed. She's great. My guilty pleasure has to be Alizee. Hubba Hubba...slobber.....sigh.....etc...
I also liked the English take on this song.....
I think I'm in love...
I know- stunner. Suprised Creedo hasn't spotted her yet! She's fed up apparently according to the song. She's annoyed by slow drivers, her sister, cynics, rain and...er....courgettes. Blimey it's getting hot in here. (This version has a translation).....
Jarre is awesome - seen him in concert a couple of times. His latest shows are much smaller in scale but still impressive.
Paint it Black
I forgot, Serge's daughter:
they do easy-listening bossanova-beat covers of (mostly British) 80's new-wave music
You may recognise their work from TV ads and their cover of the Clash's Guns of Brixton from Ruddy Hell Its Harry and Paul's Polish Café sketches.
I like Brimful of Asha, by Cornershop. But they're not French.
