Sunny. Lovely. The bedroom window was open and I got woken at 5am by some biker going at silly speed. By my reckoning, I could hear him for about 9 miles. Maybe he'll catch death disease without injuring someone.

Will be sheltering from the sun in the cave today and doing a bit of work. Nice temperature at present but have shorts on hand for later Planning when to ride this weekend which will cause the minimum amount of being cooked, Sunday might be the better bet.

Sweating it out afer a few bevvies yesterday. Girls were out at a charity ladies day, naturally us gents sat in the sun drinking gin.
I'm regretting it now.
Family round at ours this evening as someone turns another year older tomorrow, I'm quietly hoping the fishing rod I hinted about arrives ready for next weekend.

Now sitting in a puddle of sweat, then shower, stretch and meet Mrs P for coffee and cake.

Sweaty Betty. Prob not the best idea to wait until pm to start using machinery in t'garden for to rip up more of the old 'turf' in future bed preparation. Retired inside for fluids and choc ice intake. Any excuse.

Roasting here in Settle, a short walk and tourist wander, now cooling down, a quick shower and back into town for a meal and maybe a beer.

Made it to Haggis Land. Finally. Took nearly 10 hours. Traffic was nuts. Wife did most of the driving as I felt knackered and sleepy. Thank God for Aircon regas . Really appreciated it today.
