This was in fairly heavy rotation when I first moved to Leeds, in one of those big pubs that was remarkable for having a video jukebox. The chorus would usually get shouted out, although few people sang to the rest of it.

Not keen on this myself (Rez is still my favourite Underworld tune), but some group of lads somewhere could generally be found shouting "Lager lager lager" even a couple of years after its release;

My old 'local' (the Magazine Hotel on Newarke St) used to erupt when the landlord of the time Mark Kershaw stuck this on the pub HiFi (LPs behind the bar)

Nice! I can't remember which pub it was, but one of the locals used to play Desmond Dekker's Israelites to similar effect.
