threestrikesmcginty... you know the rest! Don't worry about the bill Ed - it will be smalll compared to the one you'll need to run up when you decide to make a personal appearance. (Don't let all this exposure go to your head btw) :rolleyes:

Fantastic! Can't wait - 14% extra free!

Oh gods, what an utter load of bullshit.

<sigh>

You could always knock up a rocket 14% bigger on this day, Tim! :smile:

We'll be going past Battlesbridge and down the Cinder Path pretty much at low tide - which is good news because the road from Battlesbridge to Hullbridge can flood, and the Cinder Path is (if memory serves) at about 5.3, so a super high tide (it reaches 5.0 that day) due to a super big moon could bring super waves on to the path.

I'm convinced that this super moon will light our way as never before.

Recce ride abandoned last night due to spoke failure in Stratford (in the fast lane coming off the flyover). That's it for those marvellous wheels!

Just a single ouch I hope, the one from the loss if the wheels.
two, actually, but User10571 can tell you about the other one himself. And three if you count the taxi fare home.

To be fair I've had four spoke failures in 50,000 miles, despite giving the wheels all kinds of abuse. I've got through four or five sets of rims, the hubs (which have only been re-greased once or twice) and most of the spokes are original. One can't complain.

You need some proper wheels Simon, with a decent number of spokes, I'd recommend 36 or 40. :biggrin:

Either that, or me, with an emergency Kevlar spoke (assuming they can be fitted to your wheels).
