I will be wearing a brown paper bag with two holes cut out for my eyes.

When I used to fly, it was called "temporarily unsure of our position". Although it's not a good idea to say that on the radio, especially if you're flying somewhere over London.
The closest we came to that last night was "Is it a left and a right, or a right and a left?"

Did someone say 'kilt'?

It was simply marvellous to get up at 1030pm put on my cycling gear and go out with Simon to The Rotherhithe Tunnel. I had no nerves at all as I knew I wasn’t meeting at HPC and having to be charming and talk and remember The Rules and stuff as it was just going to be the 3 of us. No messing.
I was on the promise of a date at Junction 900000001 and a slow one, so you can see I was pretty much happy, contrary to what some of you may think.

We stood one side of the roundabout and User10571 the other for about 20 minutes. This is how clever we are at meeting up.
When we did meet up I was pleased to say that User10571 was looking very fit and was wide awake. I daresay I was not.
There followed a rather lewd conversation about Who Goes Down First.
Simon to User10571 ‘You go down first’
User10571 to Simon *[insert joke here]
Susie to User10571 ' User10571!! Stop now!!'
In the end, User10571 went down first and I followed and Simon sat on my tail so that he could yell at me or more accurately admire my souplesse. (spelling please)
The tunnel was very warm. I would advise some unzipping prior to entering. Its pretty zippy. I liked it. In fact I got a little overexcited at the rush of cycling under the sea or Thames or whatever it is above it, as I found myself quite breathless, with wobbly legs and as we exited I had the clearest fantasy that through a shaft of the palest moonlight at the top of the slope a figure would emerge!
Its G Clooney!
He is wet
All over
His stethoscope clearly visible
‘Hildy Babe!!’ he cries cocking his head to one side 'What you doing? Can I join you? It looks like fun!'
‘Je suis desole, mon amis’, I reply unclipping for a moment, ‘DZ says you have to be at least 5 ft and fit to come on the rides, read the blog!’

It’s a good route. We go past a lot of Tesco Locals and the drunks were fabulously well behaved. We didn’t see any nuns though, I think they must have all been asleep in The House of The Sleeping Nuns. The halfway stop was completely deserted and run down and the staff asleep. Bring your own. The toilets were spotless. The egg and watercress sandwich I had was first rate. User10571 had homemade pasta in a piece of Tupperware. He is divine isn’t he?

On we went following Simon left and right, right and left and quite a lot of straight on. I think you will all love it.
The Rube 2 was charmed. The birds were singing in the middle of the night for us. We saw animals.

Anyway we twittered along beautifully until Simon put a bit of a slope in front of us after neglecting to read a map properly. You will be pleased to hear that the views were marvellous at the top once you had caught your breath and stopped seeing stars and we should probably see some blossom and stuff. The road in to Burnham later is just gorgeous and breakfast will taste extra good and low cal.
Just saying this as it is quite a longish sort of hill but you will all really enjoy it and it will be really good for you and you will be happy afterwards I am sure.

There was another little delightful lane full of potholes, but Simon isn't going to put you through that on the night, you probs aint as patient as Agent H and would lose your rags everytime you hit one.

By some miracle or other Simon had arranged the trains to arrive perfectly one after the other and we was home in bed by 830am or something ridiculous.
You are going to LOVE it.
Please bring snacks as I lost a lot of weight since I saw you last and need fattening up
Lots of love

Yer. Best find Bart Simpsons head. Just in case. So long since I've used it I don't know where it is!

It was Delia's spicy chicken with absolutely livid (wild) rice. If anyone would like the technical drawings for this, just let me know.

Amen.

If it is the hill I am thinking of, you'll all be fine.
Most of you will even be happy. If not delirious.
Once the nose bleeds and screeching noise in your ears has stopped.
Oh - and your vision has returned to normal.
I honestly cannot remember the last time I had to deploy the 24" gear.
The other two breezed it amidst their clickety-click STI noises.

The halfway stop was completely deserted and run down and the staff asleep. Bring your own.
Heed. This. Advice.

That is all.
