I wouldn't dare ask. Anyway, I've just checked, and she's bimbling about somewhere in Svalbard. Shame - she's one of only eight women to have won the Polar Medal - could be an illustrious addition to the FNRttC...

I do know a Xavier!

My first grandson Xavier was born the day of the Harwich FNRttC. I got back in the nick of time to rush the emergent lad into Hospital still in cycling gear. Still a bit too short for the pedals to Whistable but I could put him down for 2026 Southend run if that is any help ....

Can't help but think we're limiting ourselves unnecessarily. Why are we excluding Xanthe, Xena, Xerxes and about about 30% of the world's chinese?

I know a few, but the only one who cycles isn't overly keen on night rides and is now in Oz.
