Hey Dell

I'm pondering which bike to bring. I have a carbon road bike, or there's my steel Thorn with SKS mudguards and pannier rack. Which wouls you suggest?

One could be offended if that wasn't true, couldn't you rich?

'Whitstable Bay' is a very good call - firkin luverly!

I'm just proud to be linked with such a celebrated exponents of the bibulous arts as threebottlesmcginty and 'teef, and although I will be on the wagon on this one I will look in wonder!

Whits-table, un-stable, under-the-table!

Do you want me to have a word with the Waterfront about getting a guest beer in? I don't honestly think that there are sufficient of us to make much of a splash in the beer department, but if you want me to beg for something local (and, doubtless, expensive) then I'm prepared to give it a go.

9 gallons = 72 pints. Claud, 3BM, Davywalnuts, 2 x 1/2 for Martin235, sittingduck, redj, I might even have the odd one myself... = 1 barrel for a kick off.

I have nothing else planned for that Saturday, so I might be persuaded to stick around for a pint or two ... ;)

And a nice bottle or two of vino for me
you see what's happened now, you bunch of ne'er-do-wells. You see! That Rebecca was such a nice girl before she started hanging around with reprobates like you! Now look.

Next it's User482 - he thinks he's coming out for a bit of healthful exercise, and he's asking all kinds of earnest questions about mudguards and the like, and you're going to turn him in to a Lushketeer. Turn back, User482, and devote yourself to audaxing, before you lose your soul!

Vin Nicholas? See Mc Wobble.

Two bottles? You'll have the original Becs Veer

What a good idea. You'll find it surprising, the things you can get just by asking. I know a man who recently borrowed a car park!
