Adrians now the undoubted Kings of the Road - Andrew/Andys/Andrij off the pace!
A few out (William and Charlotte H were called to duty, but they'll be back), and a couple of new riders. I make that about 71, and, other than one more on the way, that'll be about it. Final e-mail tonight when the weather forecast comes out.

No Bridget? The peloton will be miles poorer, although TheClaud is racking them up on her 'all stations from Scotland' tour...

Is that the Charlotte B, and have you told her she can only come if she rides the Brox

Not that I'll be there to see it anyway, I'm doing something silly on skates this weekend

If it is, alternatively she could also try and ride the Ordinary again.

(... I know, it breeches the "must have a chain" rule ).

Riding a folding bike far too much of the time...
Dellzeqq,

Sorry to upset the runners and riders list. The +1 has not only changed sex, but sadly is also not as good looking and is now known as Lee. The other half has 'cried wolf' but thankfully Lee part of the Islington Gang has taken up your invitation. If that is ok? I will make sure he reads the basics though he could make a good 'tail end Charlie' of the future as he claims he is a qualified cycle mechanic!!!!

Looking forward to meeting my name sake?

I'm out due to knee problems. Had hoped to make it, but it doesn't look feasible as the knee isn't responding to treatment. Hopefully someone can go in my place.

Can I team up with someone to be my lock buddy so I don't have to carry that rucksack around? Aperitif, gregcollins, topcat, clivedb? Anyone. So unless you want to be looking at a lopsided rucksack all evening you know what to do!

Thanks.

That stylish rucksack is one of my fondest memories of last weeks ride ;)

Lock your lock to your bike Marin! Wear it around your physique a la 'zeqq' (and others). ;)

I don't have a cable lock. I suppose I could try and use that kryptonite easy mount of whatever it is but I thought they weren't supposed to be very good. It's the weight as much as anything over 2kg that D lock is.
