Nah, we knew the risks, the weather forecast was for rain. And now I'm considered really hard by my friends and Mr Weenie is less worried about me commuting as he reckons I can handle anything weather-wise.

I might have to miss this on grounds of ugliness, although it has never stopped me in the past! I have been in the Royal Free since this morning...busted nose, split lip which needs special treatment tomorrow etc... More importantly, my new Gore jacket is mortally wounded, my new gloves are 'ventilated' now, and my Spesh Muira glasses kaput! My wheels are at the cop shop and I have no idea what happened. My Giro helmet is also cracked across the temple. Wear one! Apart from that all's great!
