I might have to miss this on grounds of ugliness, although it has never stopped me in the past! I have been in the Royal Free since this morning...busted nose, split lip which needs special treatment tomorrow etc... More importantly, my new Gore jacket is mortally wounded, my new gloves are 'ventilated' now, and my Spesh Muira glasses kaput! My wheels are at the cop shop and I have no idea what happened. My Giro helmet is also cracked across the temple. Wear one! Apart from that all's great!

I can't make this ride due to a busted ankle. Not mine but Mrs Kh's who broke her ankle stepping out of the shower last week, would you believe.

Thanks to all. I'm back. My bike had a flat front tyre - which is reassuring as it probably hit a pothole or exploded of its own accord. I don't remember a thing - apart from the fact that I have not borrowed any money off anyone! Got to go back to the Royal Free tomorrow at 07:30 for stichcraft on my lip...not so sew them together top and bottom (sorry about that) but side to side.
It has been a bit of a run of things - this was my first commute since Dec 24th!
But no more threadjacking, I'll be ok.
