just bust a spoke on the back wheel! Which immobilises the bike. Time to go in to the loft for a look-see!

looking for 'cash in the attic'? try the radio times...

I should get to St Pancras from Wellingborough at 10:30-ish.
Was thinking undergound to Victoria but don't fancy a 6 min walk to station with the Trike in a bag.
Give me half an hour to get the Trike back together, so ready to leave 11-ish.

Anybody else ariving around then ??
What the best/easy route to HPC from there ??

Luck ..........

I'll be arriving at St Pancras on an East Midlands train at just after 11 pm, and I think ILB will be on the same train, so I'll keep an eye for you, so that we can have a nice convoy heading for HPC along this way.

Sounds like a good plan.
Midland Road exit or Pancras Road??

That's actually a difficult question to answer when you look at the map - on both sides it's called Pancras Road and Midland Road!! That's a good way to confuse visitors to the UK.

However, the Midland Road on the western side is the one to go for, as it's one way down onto Euston Road. My train gets in at 23:09 so hopefully won't be late.

Hi all, this will be my first night ride.

I think i'm prepared and got everything ready. however, was just wondering. Do I need to wear a helmet, are they compulsory for these rides?

Speaking of tyres, I dug out about half a tonne of grit from my front tyre. It was rather worn as well, so I'll be buying a new one today, otherwise people might confuse me with you.

Dare I say it?

The weather's not looking too bad. A bit of rain before but dry through the night and temps above freezing.

Think I'll still pack the waterproof just in case

New tyres fitted so hopefully no downers from me this time.
