Cycling Excusiast
Hi Simon

Please put me down for this as a tentative yes - think I might not be fully functional by then to cope with the lack of sleep. I might try and drag a couple of people out with me if I'm on the ride.

 Still undecided whether to take the trike or bike, it'll be relaxing ride for me though. No speeding off....<thinks> Reigate Hill on the trike anyone? Trying to break 50mph.
I'll be on my Trice Q as I cannot ride an upwrong.
Don't know about the 50 mph bit, but I'll give it a go ......

Luck ..........

no you won't and neither will Lee - he's just being naughty. There's a 40mph speed limit and a bend with a reverse camber. Save yourself for Lonesome Lane which is ideal for a recumbent trike. User10571's Bend on Meath Green Lane will scare the living daylights out of you, but we really do want to watch you go round it.

I'm not fit enough to go silly fast.
I'll blow the legs well before the end if I try.
Unless its a nice down-hill run that is ..... ;)

Plus I've geared the trike down, not up.
98"-12", so I spin out at just over 30 mph.

Luck .......... ;)

the arrival time doesn't leave a lot of slack, but if you book the ticket then let me know and I'll do my best to arrange for an escort down to the start.

I can send you a route if you would prefer.

Pleased you like How to be Topp - not least because it admits you in to the Crusty old Sodd club run by 3BM among others.

That's likely to be the East Midlands train I usually get on, from Luton.

My route isn't the shortest, but it's probably the quickest, as it minimises stopping time. You zoom along the bus lane in Euston Road/Marylebone Road, left down Symour Place, just before the Edgware Road, then a little zig zag into Great Cumberland Place to come out at Marble Arch, then full speed down Park Lane.

Without rushing, it's about 20 mins to get to HPC. My record is 13 minutes (no jumping lights), so there's an incentive for you!
