I cannot begin to say how sorry I am, they do both begin with S and are down south....

I'm afraid Origamist is oversimplifying. Judged on hair length alone it might be my round, but when you factor in the cash value of your bicycle and your place in the race up Ditchling Beacon plus a penalty for mudguards, it becomes possible for me to get absolutely langered without ever going near the bar, and you'll only have to buy a round or two. Dellzeqq will need to bring his credit card, as ILB (despite the hair and height disadvantage) is exempted on student grounds...

You don't need to cycle down to Brighton to do 200+ miles.

It's a ton back from Whitsable to Luton and then take the scenic route through Amersham to Staines should take you up to the 200 mile mark.

Have I missed a thread mate, Whitstable?

I too thought I was losing the plot. So we ride to Brighton and back and somewhere along the way take in Whitstable, Faversham and Luton. If were going to these lengths we may as well add Slough so Davy can feel at home....

Chinese Buffet so your not far wrong... followed by a nice cold can of full fat coke, am positvely bouncing off the walls...

Looking good people, we've even started arguing about whose round it is, now that's progress But don't do it on length of hair, Jane'll get the hump if I shave my head just to avoid getting a round in.

If I'm doing any cycling back then it will be by hugging a train/pub route. Personally I think getting wankered in Brighton and poured onto a train seems more plausible.
