not a Dursley-Pederson!!!!!

You'll be busy zipping back and forth Andy - with Apocalypse Andrij no doubt - waymarking followed by proper cyclist action to get back to the furher to await further deployment...

At the back, there will be a party taking place - like all the best bus tours! ;)

Almost. Pedersen yes, Dursley, no. This one's a Cheltenham Pedersen, a relatively modern copy from the 1980s, made in, as you might guess, Cheltenham. Dursley Pedersens date from the start of the 20th century.

The one pictured is in my garage. I'm long term guardian of it. It really belongs to Helen V, of CTC council fame.

that's not a bad idea - a ref's whistle, a tin trumpet, a xylophone and a couple of snare drums....where's Valiant when you need him?

Busy building this. Not sure how he's gonna fit it on a trailer...

I'm not so sure about that one. I prefer the comparison to Ἡρακλῆς.

Fine. Then you won't need to partake of whatever I happen to have in my hip flask. I need something to do while waiting for you to catch up with everyone else.

 Where did you buy it, Rapha? ;)
Now I know where the hyper-activity comes from...I haven't got room on my hips for a flask - I'm thinking of nabbing a Yuba Mundo though, and plenishing it with bar facilities!

I am having a bit of knee pain at the moment so am ambivalent about a ride, but I should be around that evening. Anything I can do? Such as picking up the keys?

Tim H is picking up the keys and Antonia, the Martlets co-ordinator, is going to pick up the keys from his house on her way to the Scout Hut. You'd be more than welcome to join the Martlets crew at the Scout Hut, and it would be great to see you there.

The plan is for tea, coffee, squash, cake and bananas.....

Did we use just the one urn last time, or did we use all three?

Fundraising is at your discretion - I know that the first two on the list are raising money - one for a local hospital, and one for the Martlets.

Yes, I am fundraising for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. This is essentially to provide an opportunity for my local friends as I know the ride is mainly for the benefit of Martlets. However, if anyone here has a connection with Milton Keynes and would like to donate, please go to:

Thanks,
Clive
