I am but will be a lot earlier to avoid the pi$$heads of Romford.

If i can work out a route from Liverpool St to Kings X I may go and meet Mikee and MacB, any suggestions for a route would be much appreciated.

2.5 miles and avoids the long boring drag up City road.

Shame about your saddle, can't you use your carbon razor blade from your new bike?

ERR let me think about that. No.

Who's going to keep me company as I walk up Ditchling now

I think you may be able to find 60+ others that will keep you company.

With a bigger bunch, signing in, and possible last minute fettling of BSOs, are people going to start congregating earlier? Normally people start to condense around 11-30, but I wonder if we'll need slightly longer today?

Might be an idea. I was planning to get my usual train (11.19 into Waterloo), I could get the earlier one if that would help...?

a few withdrawals, including Steve (that could have been a lucky escape), but still a remarkably large bunch of people. And our very own Meteorlogical Man On The Inside tells us that we have no more than 1mm of rain to contend with, which is good.

Getting to Victoria, or HPC early is good. And thankyou, Janie for the offer of help.

I'll be meeting the Martlets bike by van crew a little before 11, and aiming to get away to HPC at 23.20

There will be a contigent of us at KX at about 10pm, we have some rack and luggage fitting to carry out and then we'll no doubt hit the pub for an hour or so, it can be thirsty work fixing bikes....;)

If your looking out for us, we'll be zig zagging up Constitution Hill at about 11:55pm...xx(

Have you got people to help get the Martlets across to HPC ?

I have made 3 different types of cake.
fixed a p*ncture on the front and just went out and bought a new tyre for the back after discovering a massive chunk taken out of it.

thanks for the route Steve

I have just done a weather check and I predict we will stay dry...;)

Last minute checks and packing and I'll soon be on my way.

Looking forward to:-

My first FNRttC this year, and since Oct 09
The biggest rider turnout ever
Supporting the Martlets
Seeing some old riding buddies (and new)

But most of all

3 different types of cake....xx(

This is currently No:1 in the "Me no TEC" charts for 2010.

It is unlikely to be outdone.xx(

(Muses on nighttime photo of glistening torch, rubber and an alluring set of fingernails - perhaps a finger lightly presenting molten chocolate...)

It's amazing what the tedium of work can do to you...the nails have now been ripped off

Although that still doesn't mean I can TEC ;)

However, I do have a couple of CO2 cannisters and I'm not afraid to use them....should they be needed.

See you all later

Had bought my ticket already, but it'll be valid for an earlier one. I'd get into Waterloo at 2230ish- I could go to Victoria if you need a hand with the peloton from there?
