we already have an official song for that stretch......
Is there one for Lonesome Lane yet ?

This could work but I think it's about leather and motorbikes :

No fear of danger take before you give
Fight to survive you ride to live
Out of the night that's where you appear
Long hair with leather and nothing to fear
Free as the wind you are bright as a light
Metal machine will guide you tonight
Shining steel meets your desire
Follow the wheel the wheels of fire

Follow the wheel the wheels of fire
Follow the wheel the wheels of fire

Don't take no prisoners don't spare no lives
You know the answer it's wrong but it's right
Can you believe when you hear them say
Betray your god and hell you will pay
Free as the wind you are bright as a light
Metal machine just guides you tonight

not bad at all. Especially if it's an offer to whiz ahead and mark the pothole in the centre of the rode on the first bridge!

Sunny this morning.

Took bike out of garage onto drive to fettle for tonight. Started to rain.

Put bike back in garage and came back inside to "work". Sunny again.

Just given my bike a once-over, removing a couple of fresh bits of Tuesday's Staffordshire Lanes from the tyres, and wiping off the worst of the gratuitous mud. Tyres pumped up, chain lubed, batteries on charge.

My sunburn still hurts. There's not going to be any of that on a night ride, though, is there?
