on the ride back.......I realise that you've all got nuts of steel, but, for me, the B1010 is a fearsome proposition (and this from somebody who enjoys the North Circ). There are other ways - you could simply retrace our route out.

Right, the tandem is all sorted, umpteen lights fitted (white to the front, red to the rear), it's been cleaned and oiled, tyres checked, handlebars gelled up and wrapped in new bar tape and final tweaking all dealt with.

Friday should be "interesting".

I may have drawn some of the sting of Davy's jinx, just went out on a quick 5 miler to make sure the kaffenback was ok after some tinkering and managed to get pi$$ wet through.
