It's not getting any less disturbing.
I've always wanted a pet snake. I feel an anaconda is suitably sized for this purpose and I've noticed an abundance of little people (they must be breeding!) as a food source.

third boat now booked up, and one reserve. I've asked Gary what time he has to get away.

Hello Martin, anaconda fodder here: It was his usual brand of satire but it was too subtle for some people and I think he got into a lot of trouble over it.
Ahhh Jenny, you know I wouldn't feed you to a snake. I did listen to the rest of the song eventually (tricky at work where virtually every website is banned) and it got slightly less heightist!

Hah. Given that you don't ride normally ride a Trice, will you be having company on the ride?

Sadly Natalya's not yet up to the FNRttC pace. (I've got my eye on the Genteel ride next summer, with a view to training her up, though.) But I was going to do the Saarfend ride on it last year for novelty value before coming down with lurgy, so it seems like a good idea for this one. Good practise getting it on the train and so on.

I should ride it more often. On paper it's like a slower version of the Streetmachine that's an arse to transport, but that doesn't account for the awesome fun that is cornering on three wheels. 'tis but a 5 minute job to add a couple of centimetres to the boom, change the seat angle and put the handlebars in a sensible position.

(Natalya encourages this, as she knows that by riding it, I'll become annoyed with minor mechanical niggles and be compelled to fix them.)

From Wikipedia -
under Henry VII the Groom of the Stool became a powerful official involved in setting national fiscal policy, under the "Chamber System"

So what you're saying is that the Chancellor of the Exchequer is really a royal bum wiper?
