Have I missed the instructions for how to get from Cardiff Central to the start? I'm having trouble distinguishing between all the different Millennium Plazas that google maps seems to have on offer, and there doesn't look to be a southern way out of the station.

Anyone else arriving at Cardiff Central at 10.48 now?

Me! Want to meet me and we can get there ( lost) together? It's very very easy to find.

As long as the peleton doesn't set off before midnight like on our most recent 'foreign' adventure, I'll get there in plenty of time. I just hope I don't miss the pre-ride speech being delivered in Welsh.

Looks like arrivals at Cardiff from Didcot are either 22:23 or 23:39, so I'll go for the former. It is from Paddington and Reading, anyone else aiming for it?

Gone but not forgotten.
Let's remember, and take strength from, that we start our challenge in the shadow of one of the great sporting cathedrals.

Very true. Only last week, I sent a friend of mine this link to the 'Good Ole Days'. Anyone who likes Gerald Davies' sports writing might like to watch his ballet and poetry in motion. Roy Bergiers, John Taylor, JJ, JPR, Merv the swerve... all looking so 'frail' in comparison to today's generation. I blame McDonalds.
Oops - nearly forgot Gareth Edwards, who slips in a neat reverse pass in this clip.

Are you on the 21:15 from Paddington that gets in at 23:39? If so, you'll be in bad company.

See you on the 21:15.

I definitely cannot make this one, have things to do on the Saturday, so I have a Reading to Cardiff ticket, with bike reservation going free. It's for the 2141 from Reading to Cardiff, if anyone wants it I can either post it to you or meet you at Reading station....just PM me
