It's still 18°C in Croydon, so it's probably going to be pretty mild tonight.

I think I'll leave wearing a short sleeved jersey, but with arm warmers available, just in case!

It was well good ,
Thanks Si for organising the ride ( my first )

the run down was fantastic but there was one chap who I heard got a broken spoke

turned cold at the halfway point at Faygate , and Bognor was wel sunny ,
Had me a "boat house breakfast " then cycled the 2 miles home ,

tired now

It was great, my first ride of over 10 miles on my new(ish) Brompton. The bike coped well, not so sure about me though.

The company, organisation, scenery and food were all first class, thanks Simon and everyone else.

I have just got home to the other side of the South Downs; I think going over the top from Arundel was a mistake, I should have gone off road on the return too. The climb in the heat may have finished me off for the day.

Thanks again peeps for a fantastic night to remember.

I plan to be back soon, in South Wales next month. Possibly on a proper bike though!

Nothing wrong with using a Brompton or any other folder on these rides- Bromptons and Dahons have climbed Ditchling OK.
