Yea, second that. But when we grow up into big boys like Jim & Gordon everything will be much easier
I think it only right that I confess to also still being tired. I rode 5o miles on Tuesday & after lunch the road turned uphill & totally detroyed me - although I led a train down the Epping Road later at a fair rate & realised that I can beat out a steady brisk rhythm....

well, the insect bites ('I've been to John O'Groats five times and not seen a single midge') have brought on some kind of reaction and my knees feel like they've got sand and glue in them. So it's a good job it's a short ride.....
…as in Bob Dylan's voice?

Good grief! I was still having multiple daytime eye-rests that day, and I haven't been on the bike since John O'Groats on Saturday! (In my defence it has been in the bike shop having a new headset fitted.)
Me too. Other than the shops and back a couple of times this week, I've not been near a bike. And I can'tmake the ride tonight, so it'll be a while yet before I can get out again.

get some hayfever tablets down your neck pronto, either cetirizine hydrochloride or loratadine, and you'll be right as rain in no time.

120km of riding since tuesday. plus 20km more to do tonight before I set off for HPC. I'm knackered.

I bought something in Ibiza called After Bite for my bites and it was quite good. Basically just a bottle of ammonia but it took the stingy itchiness away and stopped me constantly clawing at my skin.

vay good for immediate treatment, as is alternate applications of antihistan and savlon 6 times a day, but if, days later, you've got the huge swellings.stiffness (oo-er missus) an allergic reaction brings on, trust me, histamine tablets are what your doctor would tell you to take.

there's some amazing stuff we got in France a few years ago that you spray on a bit and it kind of crackles on your skin - amazing instant relief, but yeah, combine with an anti-histamine.

Am kind of glad it's a relatively easy one tonight, sleep has been at a premium this week, M0lly decided to talk in her sleep last night.... not that she can say too many words when she's awake - really quite odd.
