FNRttC Friday Night Ride to the Coast - Southend-on-Sea May 4th

Will anyone be getting the train into Liverpool Street that evening and cycling to the start.

And would you mind if I tag along so as I don't get lost at the very beginning?

what happens is this - about ten days before I send out an e-mail asking people if they want company from a London terminus to the start - we've got some volunteers who will tag along with you. I'll put a note on the spreadsheet to remind me to sort you out with somebody

it's just that there's a lot more going on than there used to be, and my memory, which was never good, has collapsed under the weight of messages. If it's all in one place (and fewer than half of our lot are on CC) then I can run through my e-mails every few days and scoop everything up.

Today's haul has been 70 e-mails, and one rather exceptional pm conversation, setting aside the chat on this and other threads, so I'm trying to keep the registrations in one place. I know that's a bit 'Sheldon Cooper', and, since you ask, you're on the list, but that's what it's about

Cup final on the 5th of course - at least one good thing about the new 5.15 kickoff is I can manage a couple beers, head home, couple of hours kip then up for the football.....

I did notice that it's England Vs Sweden the night of leg 1 of LonJOG too.


I am really rather excited about this though, it's been too long.

My first one too, Nosaj (well, assuming my CTC cheque arrives safely chez the Keeper of the Fridays) and even though I've already met a couple of the regulars I'm already getting nervous about it! I've never cycled through the night before. Hope to see you there - I suspect I'll be riding pretty close to the tail so if you find yourself at the back say hello!
