You're getting a triple already Davy?

He did that last month!

 Only on the inclines was I last... well, after MacB bonked anyhow..

As for flats and declines, I was more than pulling my weight.. surely! hehehe!

No triple will ever grace my Zebra Teef, but I am going to go down to a 34tooth bottom ring as the 39 just lets me down on these rides where there are hills...

Ah, I see - you're just going to miss out the middle ring in a triple then - I understand... I would dump that frame if I were you Davy - 'Ti is the new animalskin'

He could drop the outer from a triple and use that, with his weight he probably loses speed by trying to pedal going downhill:evil:

By the way I hit 42.05mph on a hill Saturday....thought I was most brave

Good one Al - we'll have you up to 90kph this year. Bury Hill back from Bognor...

This was the A287 Odiham Road coming from Farnham, we'd slogged up it earlier so felt it was only fair to sail back down. But is long and visibility is massive. I still don't get how you lot take some of the hills as fast as you do. I'm watching you pulling away as I'm squeezing the brakes after my courage has failed:biggrin: That one you were all raving about before my bonk, I think I had 'bottle failure' at about 35mph:blush:

Well done Al!
I broke my long standing record and topped 63.0 kph Sunday. Tantalisingly close to 40mph. Quite pleased though, because although that particular road off our local high spot is long & straight and good visibility it is "single track with passing places" so one needs to be ready to throw out the anchors if a car happens to come the other way. Must come and try the A287...Have driven along there any number of times as it's my way out from the dreaded Farnborough Air Show

Even better Pete, this one required no pedalling:ohmy:
