Friday Night Ride to the Coast to Southend-on-Sea 30th April

And relax.........a quiet night out on flat roads. We may wrinkle the route a little, but, whichever way, there'll be fifty and more miles of streetlights and about three without. And a ride along the seafront culminating in one of the niftiest breakfasts you'll ever have the pleasure to wolf down.

you ought to know by now that is simply not going happen hehe, sadly i don't think i can make this tsk student life tsk  enjoy all!

Well, I'm not sure about this one...lots of hills out of town..ageing body...
And then there's the eerie sound of the wind in the rigging along the seafront, the picture windowed residences with their weatherbeaten balconies, a very tinily written menu demanding the longest peer in the world...

Any vsop?

I suspect the return will be by the concrete barges and the nature reserve, allowing the 'Bromley Massive' to slip into the 4x4 and traverse the bridge to freedom and the South...topcat is leadout man for the return. Scenic, one stop, then London - Ave speed 24kph + - of course, 'The Smoketeers' might have a say in proceedings...
