FNRttC Friday Night Ride to the Coast - Whitstable 11th November

Dell on 31 Oct two days after my 70th you appeal to my sense of Duty for pothole waymarking! Well I guess how can I refuse but I should point out this route will be my first to Whitstable so maybe you or one of your fast advance riders can get me on station in time. I have no problem with helping out when you have decided on the route!
I would also welcome sharing a group save back to London Bridge on the day bearing in mind I have a seniors one third off rail card anyway so not sure how that works. Doesn't look like I will match MarinB's special £3.70 from the last Brighton ride!
As I write this in Walton on the Hill it is pe..ng down so I hope that the auspicious date 11/11/11 gives us all a number 1 night out!

I'd like to do both but I'll be cycling back from Whitstable and there just isn't time. You can probably make it (just) if you rush breakfast and get a quick train.

Now there's an idea I'll see what I can do! I seem to recall a bottle somewhere in my Maison left over from a CTC trip to San Lo Easter Cider Festival in Normandy many moons ago! Should be well matured by know I'll bring a small flask along if I can find it.

Hi, one of the Joans here. That's very weird to me, I don't think I've ever been in a situation where there was more than one Joan, except when the other was Aunty Joan :-)

That's at 10.30 in Kennington, right? It seems pretty doable, it's straight south from Victoria across Vauxhall Bridge. You'd only have to leave Whitstable at twenty to nine.

I'd like to get back to Euston if possible by 10, so would be happy to join in an early birds group saver, to St Pancras or Victoria leaving at 8.09, or St Pancras leaving at 8.39.

My only problem would be falling to sleep during a Jon Ronson talk. I'm not sure I'd want to tackle London's most dangerous junctions if I'd been awake for 24 hours.
