Martin, I can also highly recommend Naproxen, an industrial strength anti-inflammatory which I got a while ago for a throat infection but works bloody wonders for aches and pains, helped a lot with a pulled hamstring earlier in the year, as well as back pain.

Get some Shimano sandals, grow a beard and have a chat with Spa Cycles Big M - stop pretending you're a youngster and get with the program. No point trying to compete with the racing snakes like Frank and Ian etc... just make the transition gracefully. I have some nice cake recipes that will fit in your Carradice for the next FNR.

Would now be a good time to reveal that, in celebration of the arrival of grandchild number 2, I 'treated' myself to a Carradice? So if you could send me some cake recipes that would be great. And where can you get those SPD sandals?
