Frightfully awful - I had to wake up to an alarm clock this morning Early Doctors appointment.

Rather splendid - currently sat in front of the log burner with a beer.

Splendid news happened today. I rang a comparison website Saturday to get some quotes for buildings insurance even though it isn't due until mid January.

One quote was £200 less than my last renewal and included contents insurance. I will not be renewing with present insurers. Hoorah... I am a happy person indeed.

I nearly fell off Yosemite Falls, which would have been frightfully awful, probably worse for my old man who witnessed my entirely preventable stupidity. Blame the Poloti for that one.

Rather splendid was hearing my wee sister playing live for the first time on the radio.

Awful - the hideous squalling sound my kitty was making this morning on his way to the vet (for the snip).
The surgery called Mr M later and requested he come ASAP and uplift Sam because of the noise he was making after his op’.
Splendid - the lovely purring, cuddling and head butting I came home to after work (from Sam)
