my bike is now back safely in it's home...i took it to halfords yesterday, and the managed to fix it yesterday, as they wern't to busy yesterday, i picked it up early this morning...just one more question, should your deralleur move when you change gear, cause my deralleiur is currently sitting in between the middle cog and the big cog, so when i change gear to big cog, the deralleur would hav to move for it to change..
just wondering whether the deralleur should move?

It should move across the chainrings, yes. It should not rotate around the seatpost or move up and down it.
yup..thanks
i went for a test ride just now and it's fine...when ever i jump of a curb or something, the chain feels like it comes loose a bit or something, but when i get peddling again, its fine....it might just be me fussing:laugh:
