front end squeak

Was really annoying.took mudguard off squeak remained.took disc brake caliper off, still squeaking.Baffled now.

Finally had brain wave noticed rubber weather seal on hub could be touching the lock nut.pushed it in a bit.prob solved.

Time to enjoy the silence now. :-)

Had same problem on wife's hybrid. Took ages to figure out what was causing the noise - quick squirt of GT85 sorted it.

Yep, had it on my rear Fulcrum 5..

Where the gear cables stop on the down tube is another noise spot often missed.
