I agree but.... in the meantime he's been laughing all the way to the bank as far as I can understand about his IPT contract and payday. But, I'd liked to have seen him bow out on a high. I've always liked Chris though.Should've retired years ago IMO. His slot at IPT could've been taken by a younger rider(s)? He's talked about setting up an Africa cycling academy in Kenya, well get on with it !
For me, my abiding memory is of one of his rivals attacking and making a gap on a big climb, looking over their should and have that "Oh no" moment and seeing Froome steadily making his way back to the front then keeping going.
I wish him all the best for a good recovery.
